Preventive care education begins at the newborn visit and then focuses on infant developmental evaluations and immunizations per the AAP guidelines. Beginning at the 3 year visit and continuing through the teenage years, we provide annual comprehensive evaluations covering anticipatory guidance, health supervision, and immunizations.
Acute illnesses in children can be stressful for parents. We strive to offer same day appointments for evaluation of acute symptoms like fever, headache, cough, sore throat, vomiting and diarrhea.
Pregnancy is an exciting and joyous experience. We offer complimentary consultations with one of our physicians to address pregnancy related concerns and newborn considerations.
We partner with many area specialists in management of chronic conditions like asthma, congenital heart disease, and developmental delays. Our pediatricians can also help establish ADHD diagnosis and provide comprehensive non-medical and medical management strategies.
Please schedule comprehensive pre-participation evaluations at least 6 weeks prior to beginning any team sports. Occasionally history or exam findings may require additional evaluations before clearance can be granted.
We perform pre-admission school examinations and provide any necessary immunizations. Occasionally, science camps and adventure camps will also require an evaluation prior to participation.
In order to perform foster care exams, we will require court documents, prior records, and immunization records at the time of the initial visit. We are unable to evaluate the child without these documents.
Suture and staple removal can be completed in the office. We also offer circumcisions for infants less than 21 days old. Please call our office for more information.
